KSA is known to be a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and a pioneer of present day world music.

1. King Sunny Ade was born into royalty on both his mother and father’s sides of the family.

2. He joined a band in secondary school, but had to do it secretly because his family didn’t approve, which is a proof that he started music out of passion.

4. Following Bob Marley’s death, Island Records signed KSA back in the 80s and he released 3 albums under the label.
